Post by Jinxie » Tue Nov 09, 2010 7:25 am

Hi
Does one need to get any medical tests to be shown at the time of entry in UK on Tier 1 visa? If yes please let me know the details and where the same can be done in Bangalore.

If u do any tests before going, u do at ur cost, plus getting them verified/stamped/motorised etc ... Just show up and they'll do a quick ten min at their own health control at airport, no cost to u and the test is guaranteed to be accepted as valid ...

This only if u specifically haven't been asked to do Medicaid before departure, if that is the case, then simply follow procedure given to you

There may be an hour or more of time spending in the queue.

not necessarily, i landed two weeks ago, and at heathrow, around 8pm, took only 10 mins ... so i guess depends on time of the day, flights arriving and airport.
