Can I use my Tier1 visa to visit UK while working abroad?

I hold a valid UK Tier 1 (General) Visa until mid 2012, and have just left the UK to work in France last month. So I am no longer a UK resident.

Can I come back to the UK for short visits using my Tier 1 visa until mid 2012? do I have a risk of it being cancelled seeing as I do not currently live or work in the UK?

You may be refused entry under 321(ii) / 321A(1).

If you say that you are temporarily working abroad, but are planning to come back and look for work, I don't think they can refuse your entry.

Hi ,

Yes! there are more chances that they will void your visa as you are no more " active" here . IMO , you will pass the first entry but may be removed in your next journey .

If you are "happy" and "good" in France , just put a visit visa to come and see your old place .......
