T1(G) Bank statement - My experience

Post by arinpun » Tue Dec 07, 2010 6:04 pm

Though it is clearly mentioned in the policy guideline that bank statement on Bank's stationary doesn't need any authorization VFS officer asked me when I submitted my bank statement. I didn't take a chance and I have some time so I did it.

My advice to others that if you can, please authorize the statements from the Bank (Maintenance/ salary)

What IS the definition of "Official Bank Stationery"?

My American accounts I had signed / stamped, but my UK bank is on what I consider "Official Bank Stationery," but I have never found an exact definition of what UKBA considers that to be.

official stationery means sheets fed to the printer that has bank logo, header and footer on it. not plain paper printouts.
