Query on Salary earned in Inida through Work from Home in UK

Hi,

I am currently in the UK under Tier 2 dependent visa. I am planning to apply for Tier 1 general visa. I have checked and confirmed my eligability. But I have a query on the Salary earned. I am currently working for the India company in UK through work from home. I still get salary in Indian Rupees credited to Indian bank Account. Is it a problem to use this salary information to apply for Tier 1 general visa (want to swtich category in the UK). Kindly let me know if this is any issue?

Secondly,
My hunsband holds a Tier 2 Visa. Can he apply has my dependant to convert this visa category to Tier 1 Dependant?

1. You cannot apply uplift ratio to any income earned and/or credited overseas whilst you were physically present and working in the UK.
2. Neither of you can switch, but will need to make an EC application from outside the UK to change your immigration status.
