Urgent Help regarding Tier 1 Maintenance Fund in Travel Card

Post by susheel » Thu Dec 23, 2010 10:36 pm

Hi
currently I have been in Uk on site since 3.5 months on Tier 2. My company have given me Axis Bank TCDC travel card for expenditure & had charged in GBP currency. I have been using and maintaining the more then minimum amount (800 GBP) as per Tier 1 maintenance fund in GBP currency since last 3 months. Now I am planing for converting to tier 1 as I am in inside UK. But I am not sure caseworker from UK home office will consider this card account or not? I will get the bank statement from Bank (Mumbai) as per my request for last 3 months. I have a few dought regarding Axis Bank travel Card account as below.

1> This is a Travel Currency Debit Card Account its not proper bank account like saving / current will they consider this?
2> We can use this as a card transaction only No other way like money Transfer, Cheque etc.
3> My company have Transfer the money by their Card as living expenditure. they have giving me the statement but didn't mention the card name/bank name. i.e just blank.
4> No where mention on UK home office website the Traval card amount can consider or not.

Please advise me should I go with Axis bank travel card for min. maintenance fund. I will be thankful to you.
