Tier 1 Extension

Post by cgohil » Sun Dec 26, 2010 2:39 am

hI,

I have earning from two countires - Six month salary earned from INDIA and 6 month salary is earned from UK and I am currently in UK working here.

For Extension Do I need to do the conversion of my indian salary with (Indian Salary*5.3)/GBP rate and add it to the UK salary

or

I just have to divide my indian salary/GBP rate and add it to UK salary.

You cannot use an uplift ratio on overseas earnings if you are applying for an extension:
Appendix A wrote:22. A multiplier will not be applied to overseas earnings (if any) of an applicant who has, or was last granted, leave as a Highly Skilled Migrant or Tier 1 (General) Migrant, Writer, Composer or Artist, or Self-employed Lawyer and who is applying for leave to remain.
You can claim the earnings and convert it to pounds, you just cannot use the uplift ratio.

Hi,

How much minimum earning is required inorder to get extension,I have read few psot where it is mentioned that 27K pound earning is sufficinet to get extension.

How much point do I need to claim for extension.

Which table i need to refer for earning calculation.

If your current permission to enter or stay was granted before 31 March 2009, the points awarded are: What does it mean did it mean that visa is greanted date or date when I have arrived in UK?

Permission to enter or stay was granted the day you were issued the Tier 1 visa, not the day you arrived in the UK.
