Definitielty give them a call. The number I used was 01144 114 2074074 (that was from America). They didn't seem to mind when I called to ask about my status. With your reference number they should be able to track your application quite easily. When I called it took no more than 3 mintues to get the update.

Best wishes.

Yes, contact them.
Both e-mail and phone work but phone is more instantaneous! Email takes about 2 days before you get a reply.
The number given by alisondc is best (+441142074074) and the service is good.

Cool

Surprised..... I contacted HO via e-mail about my status. They replied (WITHIN ONLY TWO HOURS) my application has not been decided as yet. Very good & fast service.

Hi LUCKy,

Please keep us posted of your application status as I'm from the same profession as well i.e. Accounting and Finance and planning to apply next month after gather all the documents. Since most of the application I read from this board is from IT profession it's hard to find same situation like me.

THanks anyway and good luck.

Regards
StanC

Hi Finance/Admin Guys,

Me too in same profession working with UK govt. but in Nepal. I got ref no in 14 March and decision made in 21 March (quick, no??) but problem is I am just waiting and waiting the documents back. I am tired by asking but they are denying to inform over phone or mail whether my application is successful.

Anyway, keeping the finger crossed with hope.
