Hi,

If you have booked an appoitment for your spouse on the day of the appoitment if you are with your spouse do they see both of you or just the applicant who registered?

You and your settled partner should attend your appointment at the public enquiry office. If your partner cannot come with you, they must provide a letter stating that they support your application. The letter must be signed and dated, with a daytime phone number where they can be contacted if necessary.

If the settled / British citizen partner doesn't attend the PEO appointment along with the applicant, there are chances that the application may not be decided on the same day.

They will expect you both to attend. If your wife isn't able to be with you for the appointment you will need to submit a letter written by her explaining why.
