I am ILR Holder and need an advice for the Citizenship

Post by sezenakdag » Wed Jan 05, 2011 10:02 am

Hi Can someone advise me for the below subject:

My wife lives in UK since 2005. I had my dependant Visa March 2008 and entered Uk Dec 2008.
We both received our ILR in Jan 20100
My wife will apply citizenship in Jan 2012,
My question is Can I apply citizenship with my Wife? Do I have to wait 5 years to meet 5 years residency rules? Or as soon as she get the neturalization certificate Can I apply citizenship, I will be meeting 3 years residency rules then .

thanks
