Please i need your advice

I sent an application form for certificate of approval with my fiance passport and myself and the require document on the 12th November 2010 and is over six weeks now, we are still expecting the home office to acknowledge our application......My fiance and i have called them manny times but no avail. they we should write a letter to request for it which we did, but still no response...... is this normal or anyone in similar situation around november 2010. We could not travel with our friends because of this. pls advice, thanks!!!

Where did you post it from?

I know that there have been lots of delays sending postal mail into Europe due to the snow and airport closures.

Thanks for ur response, the HO confirmed they received the application but they said, we should write a letter to request for acknowledge letter which we did and still no avail.....We r not even expecting the letter anymore but the COA as it is over six weeks now!!!!!
