Nnaturalisation - PCN

Post by pct » Thu Jan 13, 2011 6:21 pm

Hi,

I would be grateful if someone could respond my query as described below. I did search in net and also in this forum but couldn't get a concrete answer and the query is

I am about to apply for naturalisation and I have had two PCN's in Oct 2010 and Nov 2010 (1. Congestion charge 2. Parking). For both of them I had received a letter. I had paid the fine with in mentioned time and haven't had any court notices nor police involved.

Is this affect my application? and should I mention in application form?

I did read a guidance and it says about fixed penalty notice but not PCN.

Path to Naturalisation -

Jun 2004 - Nov 2006 - WP
Nov 2006 - Nov 2008 - HSMP
Nov 2008 - Nov 2011 - HSMP Ext
May 2009 - ILR granted

Thanks in advance

Neither of the PCNs you mention are convictions, so should have no effect upon an application for Naturalisation.
