VAF10 queries

Hi All,

Myself and my dependents were on tier 2 visa and were staying with me here in UK. They have gone back for a trip to India & Recently I have switched my UK Visa Status from Tier 2 to Tier 1 while my family were in India.Since my dependents are currently in india and I have switched my visa , they will be applying for Tier 1 dependent visa.

I am confused about the following quetion in the VAF 10 form, which my dependents in India are about to fill:

My Tier 2 was from valid from 10.03.2010 - 27.03.2011, I came to UK on 22.03.2010, and reported to work on 23.03.2010.My Tier 1 Valid from 05.01.2011 - 05.01.2013

Query 1: 7.18 When did/will the main applicant’s job or course of study begin?

Now my dependents are applying for visa, but considering the above situation which date should be entered in the form ???

Query 2: 7.19 When is the job or course of study expected to finish? I believe date should be 05.01.2013.


Query 3: 6.8 Have you made an application to the Home Office to remain in the UK in the last 10 years? Yes/No

Is this relevant in my case or does the question means about permanent stay. What should they reply?
