Tier 1 Application - Bank Statement?

Post by coolguycp1 » Fri Jan 14, 2011 4:50 pm

My friend is applying for Tier 1 (General) from within UK in the 1st week of Feb using Same Day service. His period of earnings include Feb 2010 to Jan 2011.

His bank sends out paper statements by 15th of every month for the previous calendar month. As he will receive his salary in the bank on 31st Jan 2011 only, the bank statement will not be posted to him until 15th Feb, and so, he is not sure how to provide his earnings proof for the period claimed using bank statements?

If he submits an authorised letter from the bank confirming the salary paid to him for Jan, will this be accepted as an evidence of earnings?

He checked with his branch and they can provide him with an electonic statement from the branch. However, this statement will not be issued on a company headed paper but the branch will stamp and certify the statement. Also, his name and address will be on a separate page, though this page also will be certified.

Seniors, will the Home Office accept such a statement?

Seniors, any suggestions on my query?

As I said earlier, my friend will submit 11 monthly bank statements on company headed paper as these are already with him. However, he can only submit a stamped and certified statement for the 12th month which the branch can give to him but not on a company headed paper. That too with his name and address on a different sheet.
