New application swicthing from Teir2 to Tier 1

HI all,

Pretty new to this forum had a big query. I am presently under Tier2 category wanting to swicth to Tier1. I worked in the USA since last 6 years moved o INdia 8 months ago and then came to UK 2 months ago. My family has joined me too in UK on dependant visa, my tier 2 expires in Sep 2011.

I have cheked and have the necessary points 80 + 10 +10

Is there still a chance to apply citing that April is near and no more applications afte that.

Since i have been in UK for 2 months only i cannot show UK bank proof for maintenace but i have in India, Can i show INdia bank accounts in my name for claiming maintenance points. Can i show mor ethan 1 accounts. Can I show FDs'

For joint accounts , shoudl all holders sign in the applicant form What the story about friend/relative sponsporing you is that a good way or something that puts your application in trouble.

Since the policy says for depandnat i need to show 1600 each so for me to apply i need 800(self) + 4800(wife and 2 kids) GBP snce last 3 months which is a bit dififcult.

Can i apply just for self now and hopefully apply for family later.
in this event when i get my tier1 visa will my family's visa be still valid or does it get nullified and they turn into illelgal residents.

Also no mention about dependants after April 2011. Can i apply for dependant visa after April 2011, Assuming by then i shoudl have the 5600 GBP available.

Can my family still stay in UK on tier2 dependant whilst I am on Tier 1.

Hi,

I have received my Tier 1 visa. But my dependents are still on old dependent visa of my Tier 2 visa which is no more valid.

However I am working in the same company and have not yet informed my company about my visa status change.

Can my dependents now apply from UK as Dependents based on my Tier 1.

Please reply urgently. I need this answer to go ahead.
