Tier1 extension

Post by meratier1 » Wed Jan 19, 2011 9:14 pm

Hi Guys
I have query regarding the Tier1 extension. I want to know whether it is necessary to show the 12 months salary slips for visa extension. consider the case of contractors, there is a possibility that a contractor may have earned enough money to claim points in 8 months only and he might have been out of job for rest of the 4 months. So he should be able to apply with those 8 salary slips. Am i thinking right here or it is necessary to have 12 months sequential salary slips. Please clarify.

As long as you have earned the required points for your earning it doesnt even matter if you earned your money within 4 months out ov last 15 months , its just that how you prove it and what documents you provide to prove it.

Hope it helps

As long as you don't have gaps which will make the start and end period longer than 12 months apart, it's fine. I got my initial visa on showing only 10 months payslips (despite the fact that my employer letter clearly stated I was working there for longer) - I scored enough points on 10 months and couldn't find the other two months bank statements.
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.
