Tier 1 Dependant visa

Hi,

I am planning to apply for Tier 1 Dependant visa tommorow.

Please could you let me know if the following things were fine to go

1. Got Bank statements from my wife account showing Rs 150000( eq to £1600 and more) from KVB for date 01-OCT-2010 to 22 Jan 2011
2. Also for my maintenance funds, I am showing the statements from 01-OCT-2010 to 22-JAN-2011 for Rs 2,50,000 (eq to £2800 or more) from ICICI bank
3. Marriage photos showing my family members, her family and one photo alone with us.
4. Is Just copy of my entry clearance details and my passport photo copy is fine? or It needs to be signed by a notrary?
5. I am still in india and my visa valid date is from 18 Feb 2011. Is that an issue applying before visa valid date?
6. Do i need to show bank statements for latest 12 months? or is that fine to show 12 months statements at any period?

Please could you confirm if the above documents were fine?

If you are a joint account holder and your name appears on her bank account statement then it should not be a problem else get NOC (No Objection Certificate) from your wife that says she has no objection and that she authorizes you (clearly mention the name and account number) to use the funds available in the said account as evidence of fund maintenance. You may have to attach self attested photocopy of her photo ID proof. something like PAN card.

But I don't understand why are you using your wife's account if your account has sufficient balance?

Yes, should be fine..!!

Just a photocopy ... no need of attestation...!!

I don't see any problem as I did the same thing...although my visa validity date had already gone ..!!! You have visa... that's more important..!!

Why 12 months?? If you applying for Tier 1 dependent, 6 months signed/stamped statements along with 6 months salary slips should be fine...!!

Don't forget to mention on covering letter that since the main applicant has not yet travelled to the UK, information in section 7.13 to 7.19 in vaf10 application form is not applicable Since he has not yet travelled to the UK, salary slips submitted along with this application are from his current employer in India.

Please also attach sponsorship letter from you..!!!

Why 12 months?? If you applying for Tier 1 dependent, 6 months signed/stamped statements along with 6 months salary slips should be fine...!!

I applied today morning. But just left the field blank. Didnt mention in the covering letter. Is that fine?
