Source of fund is necessary or not??

I went to jeddah, Saudi arabia VFS to submit my application for Tier 4 General student.
I have paid all my course fees in the college which is Highly Trusted in ranking and that clearly mentioned in CAS letter that student paid her full course fees. But the VFS staff was asking for other proof of payment otherwise they said BHC going to refuse my application.
I have submitted my last 2 months bank statement which is more then enough funds available and the bank account is in my name but VFS staff said you need to provide your fathers income source or the source of the money you have got in your bank otherwise they going to refuse application.

My question is both of the documents asked by VFS staff was not relevant with Tier 4 application so why they said like that. Reply needed asap pls.
