Citizenship Application Date

Hi,

I am a US Citizen. I was granted a Settlement Visa (Spousal) back in Nov 2006. I made my first entry on this visa on 23 Dec 2006. Even though I made several trips to the UK and kept my status, I didn't really complete my move until August 2008. Same year, I made a trip to the UK in April (2008).

I wanted to know, is it possible for me to apply for citizenship using my April Entry? This will give me solid 3 years in the UK (minus 3 months). If this is ok, which date do I put for my initial entry; Nov 2006 or April 2008?

Also, if I use April to start my residency period, can I apply 30 days ahead of that date (in March instead of April)?

One last thing, I was in the UK in the first week of Jan 2008 as well. Can I use that date and apply right now or should I wait for March/April.

Ok, I have read a lot of posts etc and done more research. I guess my next date when I am able to apply is after April 14th.

I still have one question though: which date do I put for my initial entry; Nov 2006 or April 2008? My first entry into the UK with this settlement visa was in 2006.
