FLR (M) postal application as spouse of settled person (previously Tier 1 dependent)

Time line:

5th January: Posted Application (Special delivery)
6th January - UKBA received application
10th January - Letter received confirming they are on the case (2nd class post)
15th January - Received letter instructing we have 15 days to capture biometrics either at specific Border Agency Centers or at 'participating Post Offices' (2nd class post)
20th January- Biometrics at Post office
4th February- Received passports and documents. (Special delivery envelope we sent)
Waiting: Received Biometric Resident Permit

Total time: 4 weeks
Time from Biometrics: 2 weeks

Congratulations. It must be a relief for your family.

Just a quick question, did the appoval come from Croydon or Sheffield? I ask because a relative advised they got the biometric letter from Sheffield after a previous invalid application sent back from Sheffield as well. I thought Croydon dealt with spouse and family applications?
