Can i send my UTR number now or is it too late

Post by pravinboppuri » Tue Feb 08, 2011 2:04 pm

Hi Guys,

Last month i have applied for Tier 1 General and last week i have registered for my biometrics. Please see my perious forum for full details.
In short i am self employed and salaried employed. I did not send UTR number nor the NI Class 2 bill. I have requested HMRC (as i wont get it till march) to send me a confirmation letter that i am registered as self employed, which is on the way.

Can you please advise if i can send that letter whilst my application is in progress or I will have to wait for the case worker/home office to get back to me and then send the required? Also i have registered for biometrics, does that mean they have considered my application or is it just a part of the application process?

Senior moderators please advise?

Kind Regards,

PB

Biometrics is just a part of the application process. It doesn't mean that your application is decided. Best thing would be to send a change in circumstance form and include the UTR letter. Mention everything clearly in the change of circumstance form. You should be ok.
