HSMP Dependent visa for newborn

Post by ak_md » Sun Jun 04, 2006 12:06 pm

Hi, I am currently on the first year HSMP which is due to expire August 23 2006.I have been on WP for 2 years prior to this.My son was born on April 6 and I have obtained an Indian passport for him in the UK.I need to travel by the first week of july with my baby.Do I need to apply for a dependent visa using FLRO or is it possible at all to apply for HSMP extension and include him as a dependent on FLRIED, as the HSMP extension date is not exactly in 5weeks .I have sufficient documents to prove my economical stability and have a stable job.Can anyone help and advice please! It will be a burden economically to shell out 500GBP initially and then another 335 in a couple of months.
