Two years ago I was granted limited leave to remain as a spouse of a British citizen. I am very soon going to apply for SET(M). When we married my husband started his studies in Durham and he moved there. Before that we lived with him and his mom in York and both were registered at a local council. When my husband moved to Durham, he registered there and paid his council taxes there whilst I stayed registered in York. However, I was constantly visiting my husband and stayed with him for a prolonged period of times and only sometimes was coming back to Durham to his mom where I paid my council tax. My bank statements and other official correspondence were sent to the address in York. But I do have my national insurance number sent on the address in Durham as well as I have a medical card from Durham's GP. After my husband finished his studies we moved to London where I got a job and we lived together on the same address for one year and three months (we have tenant agreement on our both names, council taxes etc.). Later, my work contract finished and we moved out from that flat in London and again returned to York. But within one month I got another temporary job in London and I moved to London again and currently staying in my friend's apartment. I am visiting York on a regular basis as well as my husband visits me in London. Basically, I am staying in London only during week days. My initial one-week employment have been extended and I am for the last three months staying at my friend's apartment where I am not paying a rent. I and my husband continue paying council tax and receiving all our bills on his and his mom's address in York where we are registered.
In these circumstances can I apply through one day personal appointment for SET(M) or due to a complicated nature of my application I need to apply through a post? Can I provide letters sent on my York address as a proof of cohabitation for the last three months?
Your help and advice would be highly appreciated.
