I had a similar experience. I wasn't checked at Dover or Calais. But I had the dates. I made a spreadsheet of all my absences with the page number in the Passport where the relevant stamp is located. I truthfully listed the period as an absence but I obviously had no stamps. so I just put "no records". My solicitor said it will be fine.helloimran wrote:Dear respected members,
I applied for ILR under 10 years long residency last week.
My total days out of country are 328 days.
In 2002 i went to Paris for three days and i had two month visa.
I went to Paris through road,at dover port immigration did not stamps on my passport, not exit neither entry.I don’t remember what were the exact dates of travel.
In application form i mentioned three days out of UK and i am not sure that dates are correct.
Do i really need to mention exact dates?
I am worried about it.
Waiting for your reply.
Thanks.
IMRAN.....
don't put the dates specifically. Just put it like this (I assume you know the month?):helloimran wrote:Thanks joh118 for your reply.
As you put 'no records' but i mentioned the dates (3 days) which i am not sure those are correct.
Someone told me there may be an issue regarding false dates.
I am bit worry, please advice on that.
Thanks.
IMRAN....
no, its not deception. You told them everything you knew.helloimran wrote:Once again thanks.
Just to clarify and want to put my mind in rest.
By not mentioning correct dates which i do not know, did i commit any deception in my ILR application?
Can HO refuse my application on that basis?
I know i have posted my ILR application and i can not do any thing now.
I really can not afford the refusal.
Thanks
IMRAN....
