Submitting a psw application while T4 application in process

Hi guys
can anyone help me here.actually i started course in jan 2009 and it supposed to finished in june 2010 but i have to extend the course until december 2010 but my visa was expiring in end nov 2010 so i have to apply for extension and still waiting for the decision . on the other side i have passed my degree and received transcript and my 3 months statement is ready but the confusion is that im not very much sure that can i submit psw application while my tier 4 extension is in process or any other possible solution.

If you made an in-time and valid application for extension of leave as Tier 4 (student) and it has not bee decided yet, then you may vary your application to Tier 1 (PSW).
