Is PRC mandatory for Tier1 Extentions ?

Hi,

I am seeing a box in the FLR form for no. of PRCs (Police Registration certificates).
Can you pls confirm if thats mandatory ? I have came in June,2008 but haven't done it yet. My Tier1 Visa is expiring in May,2011 & I am planning to apply for extention with dependant.
