EARNINGS AS SELF EMPLOYED TIER 1 (GENERAL)

Post by aamirwani » Sat Feb 26, 2011 8:35 pm

Hi
i am on a post study work visa which expires in aug 2011.
i want to switch to tier 1 general.

. I have a Masters from a UK university.
. Age less than 27
. Earnings round about £37000
. 3 months maintenance of £800 completes on 10 march.

My Questions:
1. Does Tier1 visa close in the first week of march (Many believe it does). worried as my maintenance completes on 10 march 2011.

2. I have earned £25200 over that last 11 months through my job (have all pay slips docs. etc.) and around £13000 through my business (have all the statements, registered with inland revenue as self employed).
My concern is that i don't have any invoices for my earnings through my business as i outsource most of the work back home.

My Concern:
. Would it be too late to apply after 15th of march 2011.
. Would it be a problem if i haven't got any invoices for my earnings through business.

Will highly appreciate if anyone could help please.

invoices are a must for self employed applicants (sole traders) who are not trading under limited company structure.
