Tier 1 dependant visa Important Questions It might help many

Post by Asia Pacific Lawyers » Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:36 pm

I have Tier 1 Migrant visa valid upto 2113. My husband is goign to apply Tier 1 dependant visa from outside UK. He has already got 5 years Visit visa to UK. Also, he has got indefinite stay in U.A.E. He has lot of sufficient funds available to him for UK

What are his possoible chances to get Tier 1 dependant visa keeping in view above visas. Might he be refused or will be granted Tier 1 dependant plz reply as this will help many of reverend members

No relevance!

The only thing this statement does is that it tells you he has enough money to meet the "maintenance funds" requirement. Nothing more!

If he meets the requirements specified in the immigration rules (319C), he will be granted entry clearance. Unfortunately, UAE permanent residency and previous successful applications are not amongst the eligibility criteria for entry clearance applications by dependant(s) of Tier 1 (General) migrant.

Thanks a lot sushdmehta for comments. I am not employed at the moment. I left job in UK in November 2010. I am living with my husband outside UK since a month. Can i arrange job offer letter from employer in UK. What are the chances by the way if i apply without employment. Also, I have tenancy agreement handy. I do not have inspection report from letting agent for my rented property. Plz comment
