Hi,

I am posting the following 2 queries on behalf of a friend who wish to apply for HSMP but is unsure about the folowing ...

Query 1 : PARTNER's QUALIFICATION
He is married over 3 years and has been living in UK with his wife for around 1.5years. Before moving to UK he was in Singapore with his wife for 2 years and unfortunately he does not have any utility bills or papers to prove that his wife was living with him in Singapore.

Though, other than the Marriage Certificate he does have sufficient documents to prove his wife is with him for last 1.5years in UK, however, he is NOT having any document to show the same when he was in Singapore.

It is important for him to get 10 points on the basis of Partner's criteria for his overall HSMP application.

Any thoughts please ?

Query 2 : WORK EXPERIENCE
This friend has been working for a premier Investment Bank through a popular IT company in India for approx 5 years.
The total time he has spent with the company so far has been : 3 years of Team member and Sr. Team member role followed by 2 years of team leader.
Employer is happy to give a good reference letter. So, are there any good example letters available from someone who is targetting for 35points in that criteria OR if someone could suggest from experience what words (or how should it be presented?) such that he can hope to get 35points.

Have read several posts here and have gained a good idea as to how he should put his HSMP case, however, to be certain would appreciate if you all could share your expertise and experiences on the above 2 queries.

many thanks
Pan

Hi,

Unless it can be proved that the relationship has subsisted for the last 2 years (with 3 different forms of evidences to cover the 2 yr. period), points will not be awarded.

In my humble opinion, I don't think a Team Leader role qualifies for a "senior / specialist" level work experience. (This is just my personal opinion; others may say otherwise).

regards
