Hi Dear Friends,
I am supposed to travel to UK on coming 31st March 2011 . I have couple of queries and would be thankful to you all if you can guide me with these.
1) I had applied for Tier1 , General on 25th Feb ,2010 and got it by 10th march ,2010 . Its valid from 15th April ,2010. Now I would like to know that is there any initial cut off time in which we need to travel. Somebody told me that there is some rule which says that we should travel in the first 6 months after the visa start date. Please let me know if its true or applicable for Tier1.
2) I would also like to know what all to expect at the airport at the time of clearance? Do I need to carry any health checkup reports with me?
Thanks for your help and guide,

You can travel/enter anytime till validity of your visa. There is no rule of entering within 6 month.
They may ask why are you entering so late. You can give any logical reason, it should be convincing.
You need chest Xray to support you do not have TB.

Thanks for your response bro. Even I am not able to find any such rule anywhere. I heard it used to be a rule for Tier2 visa earlier.
Just carrying chest x-ray would be enough or they will do their own test?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Just the x-ray should be fine. I didn't have an x-ray and the lady told me that she was surprised that I was even sent to the health inspection room as I didn't need one. Just keep it for safety purpose.
