Re-enter UK with 2 weeks left on initial visa

Post by zabds » Tue Jun 20, 2006 2:24 pm

Hi

My friend's wife was granted probationary 2 year leave as married spouse around 2 years ago. At the time, my friend had ILR; now he is a naturalized British Citizen.

They are both going to visit their relatives abroad soon. When they will be coming back to the UK, there will only be 2 weeks left on her visa. When booking this visit, they did not think much of it but now they are starting to get worried.

Is the fact that only 2 weels will be left on her visa going to be an issue when they are coming back to the UK?

They plan to apply for her settlement here using the fast track service in person at Croydon, the next day they are back in the UK.

Thanks in Advance,
Abd
