hi,
can anyone help me please. my husband have PSW. i am stay under tier 4 genaral student. can i switch from student to tier 1(PSW) dependandat from inside uk?

Exit UK before expiry of current leave, and apply for entry clearance as depedant of Tier 1 (PSW) from outside the UK.

AIUI, a dependant child cannot switch sponsors (i.e.- dependant of one parent to dependant of the other) from within the UK (319H(h)).

I think has been addressed in the statement of changes to make it possible to switch the parent you are dependent on from within the UK

Para 123 of the statement of changes

123. delete paragraph 319H(h) and substitute:â€œ(h) an applicant who is applying for leave to remain must have, or have last been granted leave as the child of a parent who had leave under any category of these rules.â€
