MN1 Citizenship Registration for Children

Post by khatana » Fri Mar 18, 2011 2:54 pm

Hi all,

I have a question in regards with child registration, I hope I can get some response here.

I have ILR (granted: Nov 2010)
My wife has 2 years extension (granted: Dec 2010)
My 3 kids (4 years old, 2 years old, 7 months old) all have the same 2 years extension as my wife; their passports were sent along with their mother's dependants, all of them got their extensions on the Biometric cards.
All my childern were born in the UK. I have following questions:

I know that I can apply for their registration on the basis of my ILR, my question is can I apply for their registration BEFORE I apply for mine (which is coming up in November 2011) or does it have to be a long with my application?

Do I have to fill 3 separate MN1 forms for each kid and do I have to pay separate fee for each kid? If it must go with my application can they be put as dependants on the same application as mine?

Thank you in advance.

Yes. And you'll apply for naturalisation, not registration!

There is no provision in MN1 form to include multiple applicants. So...

See fees.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
