Illegal

Post by TK29 » Sat Mar 19, 2011 3:37 pm

I entered the uk as an illegal immigrant and i’ve been living in the uk for 7 years,in 2004 I was caught by UK Border Agency officers.I was temporarily released on immigration bail and was said to report regularly to a police station but I didnt turn up incase they will send me back to my country.
I am now married with a british woman for a month and want to have a settlement in the UK,could someone please answer the following questions for me?

1. Would I need to let the HO ofice know about the situation and get a volunatry leave if I was going to apply from my home country?
2. would it be better if i applied in my country or from the UK?
3. when i was cought and didnt turn up for the weekley report would this effect my application?

If i did let the HO know that i want to go back to my country and get a settlement in the UK im just worried that i wouldnt be able to come back if they didint give me the vise, but i am being honest aint I??[/list]
