travel to UK without main applicant for Tier 1 visa

Post by sohail_amjad » Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:40 pm

I got Tier 1 (HSMP) dependent visa for myself and my daughter through my wife (main applicant).

We visited UK 6 month ago and both my wife and I could not find job. We moved back to our own country.

Now, I have decided to travel to UK myself without my wife (who is main applicant) and my daughter.

Is there any restriction to travel to UK without main applicant?

I have valid VISA for next 18 months.

Thanks

A.A

There is no issue to come alone, but make sure you bring all the documents
related to your case incase if they ask.

normally on tier 1 there is no issue

If the IO questions you about the whereabouts of the main migrant and becomes aware that Tier 1 (General) migrant is not resident in UK, then you may be denied entry.

As a dependant, your right to live and work in the UK is dependant on the main migrant's physical presence in the UK.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
