As per Tier 1 form, points are awarded for country where work was performed. I request 2 urgent clarifications on this
1) I moved from India to USA/UK (on non-work VISA) however my employer continued to deposit money in my Indian account for earned leaves encashment and some deferred salary components, would country of work be considered as India in this case? How UKBA would verify the work location especially when my passport indicates that I was not in India (and was on non-work visas in US/UK)?
2) On the other hand, I was working in USA and then left to work in India on 1st Apr 2010. I received some salary and earned leave encashment on 30th April in USD. Would this be considered as work performed in USA? Since my passport has stamp proving my presence in India for almost full month, would UKBA treat work location as India?
Should I just mention these details in cover letter and not worry about passport stamps?
I need above clarification to apply uplift factor properly. Request urgent help!
