Maintenance Fund Withdrawal

Post by chavdara » Mon Mar 28, 2011 12:12 pm

Hi All,

First of all thanks for reading my question:

I applied tier1 extension visa ( with my wife as dependent ) last week on 21st March as my visa will be expired on 21st April ( next month ).

Now as a maintenance fund - I shows my E-ISA account where i was having £5000 + interest for last 12 months and as a documents i've submitted my E-ISA statemetns and letter from Bank that i was having £5000 since last 12 months.

Now, it's since a week i've applied for visa and today i've withdrawn £5000 from my E-ISA as i needed it urgently to help my family. So does this have any problem in visa as now my E-ISA shows nothing. but when i applied on 21st march, £5000 was there since last 12 moths.

I'm now little worried since morning as not sure this will refuse my application. Not sure if we need to maintain till we got the visa or not >?

Your reply is much appreciated,
Cheers,
Raj

Your maintenance funds requirement of £800 is only up to the date your application or date of your bank statement (before one month of the application date)

You can with draw your funds any time after application, usually people use to have the funds in the account until they receive visa just in case if they need to reapply in another category. (Since tier-1 G closes this April 5th)
If Not We, Then Who?

and how do you think they could know the current balance of your account? surely they don't. it's private information banks do not share with anybody except you
