ILR Set M application question

Post by sivasuk » Mon Mar 28, 2011 4:35 pm

Hello everyone, My husband is applying for for ILR – SET (M) at Croydon in April, but i have some questions, can you able to help me please?

1. My Husband, currently in Spouse visa, going for renewal in April, I am so worried about our financial status. Living with my parents, so we don't pay rent or council taxes due to my parents are in pension credit. He work for around £960 per month and I work part time and earn £474 per month. We pay all other bills and in our names. We don't get any benefits. Do you think it would be enough?
2. Do I need to provide a letter, bank statment or their tenancy agreement from my parents declaring that we are living with them?

Thanks in advance

If you go through some previous posts in this forum you will see so many cases like yours or even bit complicated when they are on benefits and do not work etc and still can get ILR.
There main concern is to check if you are living together or not. for that you should provide all 2 years documents from at least 3 different sources jointly addressed to you. and letter from you parents stating that you live with them.
I recently got ILR ( SET M ) from Solihull no questions asked. You will be OK as long as you full fill all the requirements.
As mention before in so many posts that the UK border agency staff are advised not to refuse because of finances. good luck and do not worry. and yes life in Uk is must
