I got this information by email from ukindia.com. Lists documents to be submitted by the parents, who are ILR holders, to the British high commission in India to get visa for their new born child with indian passport to enter into the UK.

The following are the documents required for a Child joining parents for
settlement:

1. Parents' marriage Certificate
2. Applicant's Birth Certificate
3. Parents' passport copies showing their current immigration status in the UK
4. Sponsorship letter from parents confirming their relationship with
the applicant
5. Evidence of parents' employment, income (pay-slips for the last six
months) and savings (bank statements for the last six months), form P60 for the last two years.
6. Evidence of accommodation in the UK, mentioning the number of people
already living there, the number of rooms and the cost.
7. Any council tax bills
8. If parents are divorced - the divorce certificate and all the court
orders granting full custody to parent living in UK

The documents mentioned above are just a guideline for you and not a
prescribed list. We advise applicants to visit our websites
