Clarification - Immigration History - Section 6 - Set O

Post by vipul1981 » Tue Apr 05, 2011 10:45 am

I was hoping if someone can clarify this for me.

I need help with below question regarding Immigration History - Section 6

6 . 1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the
date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay
on which this application is based.

I came to UK in September 2004 on Working Holiday Maker visa and converted to HSMP, which was stamped on June 12 2006. Is this the date I have to put in this?

Your response will be highly appreciated.

Regards

1. Just to clear the question, for your EC information and that wud be the very first time you entered the UK on the Working holiday visa and not the HSMP visa as in your case HSMP was not issued as EC but a change of the visa in UK.

Hi Ash,

When they say "qualifying category", will it not mean HSMP?

Before WHM I was on student visa and came to UK on WHM after 10 months.

Sudesh Mehta, request you to throw some light on this please

I share the same opinion as xyz123, for the reason you have quoted.
