Birth certificate for naturalisation application

Post by alluram » Sun Apr 10, 2011 1:35 pm

Hi

I have applied for Irish naturalisation based on my partner ( Irish citizen). I am from India and I don't have birth certificate. i have supplied an affidavit but naturalisation office have return my application looking for birth certificate.

Just wondering if somebody has similar problem ? Looking for solution.

I also know that Indian embassy in Ireland can issue birth certificate. Is that helpful ?

thanks

i sent a affidavitt as well but they asked me for a birth certificate so i had to get it from india and give it to them.they are kinda serious about it these days.try and get it from india or ask the office a letter if they cant provide you a birth cert that letter and the affidavitt should be ok
