is it ok to visit ireland if you are from central america originality with pemanant USA residency from a child but not citizenship

If you are a passport holder from the following countries you do not require visa to visit Ireland.

Could you be any more vague? What do you mean by 'missing some paperwork'? What kind of 'paperwork' would you be missing?

What passport are you travelling with? How long are you planning on staying? How much money do you have with you? What is the purpose of your visit? Where and with whom are you staying during your visit? Have you sufficient proof that you'll be returning to your country of residence after your trip to Ireland?

These are details that need to be taken into account. An immigration official can decide to turn you away if s/he is not satisfied that you have adequate resources to fund your stay or s/he thinks that the purpose of your visit is anything other than tourism or a short business trip.

I'M English with an Irish mother and I have lived in Ireland when younger and even went to school and had some lovely nuns teaching me. I have a British passport but of course I could have an Irish passport as well if I applied for one. My fiance is from the US and is a permenant resident but born in central America. What is the best thing for her to do to go for a visit.

Typical list of documents which is required for visitors visas are:

1. applicant's passport
2. payslips from employer or college letter if student
3. bank statements (showing sufficient funds)
4. letter from employer/college regarding holidays
5. sponsor letter (if there is any one sponsoring from Ireland)
6. Hotel booking until the duration of stay.

There are no direct flights from central america to either Dublin or Shannon, it will be via London/Madrid/Lisbon etc. If you fly from states then there are direct flights to Dublin and Shannon.

Well Ireland's politics is renowned for its nod and wink approach, but you won't get that on the airport. Its plain immigration like every where else, arrive with proper docs and yous be on your way.
