Switching Visas

Post by AzimScot » Tue Apr 12, 2011 10:36 am

Hi,

I am wondering if its possible and acceptable to switch a person visa status from a marriage 2 year visa to an aslylum case where the person has said they are unhappy in marriage and its a breakdown of marriage, but they have no where else to go or no parents and they are threatned in their home country? What sort of evidence do you require to stay in the UK as an asylum seeker? Do the police/authorities just take your word for it?

Thanks.

Azimscot, please ask your friend(s) to register and post their own queries.

Helps avoid confusion and, you as a external / third party, may not be able to answer questions asked pertaining to the details of the case.
