TIER 1 GENERAL SWITCHING

Dear Experts,

i am on a student Visa & i have applied for TIER1 GEN (Self Employed) at Croydon using the Apply In Person Service on 5th April.
Its been a week now & my Rep says that it has been forwarded to Durham for further verification & can take upto 2-3weeks more...

My Question is this, is it Normal ? (i am taking points from the earnings made in my country, not Uk)

If you make an effort to search the forum, you'll find that it is normal that decision on in-person applications by self-employed applicants are deferred for verification(s).

And, whether it will take 2-3 weeks or 12-14 weeks or more is anyone's guess!
