Salam alaikum

Hi All

Thank you all specially Bately Khan Mehtha & sudha for answering all my queries and the member who have helped me in the this application one way or the other with their question or their comments

I have just applied for spouse visa today ...I used to travel UK very Frequently for last 11 years never over stayed or broke any immigration law, I got married in UK on Marriage Visa

VFS Centre : Bombay (South)

the document I submitted as are as follow


Particulars
1) Form VAF4A
2) My Passports bearing
3) Attested copies of my wife passport (Notoriety the photo page only)
4) Sponsorship form
5) Wife resume

Wedding
1) Marriage Certificate Original & copy
2) Sample of wedding invitation card
3) Copy of venue receipt
4) Photographs of Wedding night
5) Photographs of Musical night

Honeymoon
1) Hotel confirmation email
2) Flight boarding pass
3) Car hire receipt

Communication
1) Telephone bills

Sponsor Letter
1) Sponsor letter from wife

Maintenance
1) P60 (£38K) hope it is sufficient
2) Salary slips (£2.3K after deduction)
3) Bank Statement
4) Sponsor C.V. (she is Chattered Accountant)

Accommodation
1) Utility Bill
2) Land Registry copy (one Bedroom flat)
3) Mortgage Letter copy

English Language certificate
1) IELTS Score

Qualification
1) M.Com Marksheet
2) online second year Mark sheet


Hope all this document would be more than sufficient I will inshallah post the progress of the application

Please send me your comments on my list of documents

I have some question my wife doesnot have any saving but i on the other hand have ample will it affect my application ?

the reason I gave my IELTS is I lost my degree and to apply a copy is headache it would have taken same amount of bribe to get my degrees so i decided to give IELTS what is the good score ??

On average the ECO spends about 10 minutes on looking at your application and making a decision to grant or refuse a visa.

He doesnt have enough time to look at every piece of document that you send to him. I think you have slightly gone over top, but at least you have included all the crucial documents that are required. :lol:

good score is 6.5 what you need is way less!!

I have received the successful application yesterday can anyone tell me what is next I know flying to UK but any medical exams or some registration something like that
