proving self-sufficiency

Post by 1nap1ckle » Fri Apr 15, 2011 12:06 pm

hi all, just discovered this site and i wish i had known about it when we went through ILR.
we're about to fill in my husband's naturalisation form (3 yrs in UK, I am British).
he started his own company in August, and due to variety of facts, profit has been minimal.
does he have to prove self-sufficiency? in that case, should i add copies of my bank statements etc on top of the tax assessment form for his business to prove that we're self sufficient?
thanks in advance :D

Not required. If he is self employed, he will need a tax ref number.
Best wishes
