Documents for dependants

Post by Ambassador » Tue Apr 19, 2011 4:35 pm

Hi,

I am applying for ILR after 5 years of stay as WP + HSMP + Tier1(General). My wife and daughter is also applying with me. My daughter is born in India.
Should I submit (1) Birth certificate for my daughter (2) Marriage certificate for my Wife?

I called the UKBA Immigration helpline. They told me that I should submit documents that are mentioned. In the SET(O) form it is clearly mentioned to submit the birth certificate for UK born child. Nothing is mentioned for child born outside UK.
For wife only document of cohabitation and no mention of marriage certificate is in the form.

Expert opinion on this is appreciated.
