British National Overseas advantage over Visa Nationals

Hi There,

Can someone please shed some light for me regarding the BNO nationality in the UK. I'd appreciate if someone could let me know the advantage that a BNO passport holder will have over other visa nationals when it comes to applying for a spouse visa and ILR?

I do understand that BNO doesn't require visa to enter UK as a visitor? but what about other categories.

Seeking your advise people? please assist.
