Maintenance Funds Requirement after 21st April

Just want to make it clear for maintenance funds requirement for myselft with two dependants.

My course completion date is 29 July 2011 and i am planning to send my visa application for extension on 30 June 2011. And i have established presence in UK.

I have gone through maintenance funds requirement in new Guidance April and have extracted following information, but i am not sure exactly how much i need to show.


1) Length of the Course: Two months or less

Inner London

Course fees and £800 to cover living costs for each calendar month of the course up to two months


2) Length of the Course: More than Two months

Inner London

£1,600 to cover living costs for two
months in the UK

I'll be thankful if you can make it clear for me how much in total i'll need show my account and for how many days including two dependants.

When does your leave expire? and your a inner london student are u, confirm that again!

My leave expires on 30th June 2011. And i study in London.

Then you should probably post it couple of days before the expiry of your leave, and studying in london doesnt make you inner london. What's the exact location, name of your uni or post code.. I would then be able to give you more precise answer. You you require just another 1 month's leave isnt it as your course finishes on 29th July

if the Op apples earlier than 30 th June even by a couple of days he will need to show two months maintenance rather than one.

If you apply on 30th June when you have one month left to study then you will need to show one months maintenance for yourself and each of your dependents- £800 for you and £533 for each of your dependents if you are studying in inner London.
