EC query

Hello All,

I have received my HSMP letter ..Now i need to for EC at Bombay
I have searched the forum and also workingintheuk website..

But i have few queries still, would appreciate if some one can help me

1)I gathered from http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk site that i need VAF2 form..
But this form doesnt have any option for HSMP in Section 1 (reason for settlement)

Also it requires a lot of details about Sponsor..I am planning to go and stay in a B&B (hotel) and search for a job..
So how do i approch this situation...??
Am i looking at the right form (VAF 2)??

2) I cannot travel for next 3-4 months...So shd. i go for EC sooner or later??
If i go for EC soon and then dont travel for 3 months, will it get included in 'counter'??( i ahev gathered from this Forum,
that not being in UK after getting EC can work against you)..
So shd. go for EC only when i am ready to travel???

IN HSMP letter, it is mentioned that i can go for EC in next 6 (SIX) months

Hi,

You need VAF1 form, and not VAF2. VAF2 is only for ILR (settlement). In the VAF1 form under Section 1, mention HSMP against "Others".
