Not providing statements for all bank accounts - spouse visa

Post by mgsBoy86 » Tue May 10, 2011 9:05 am

Hi guys,

I hope everyone is well.

This issue has been on my mind ever since my wife submitted her visa application.

I have two bank accounts. A RBS savings account, and a Natwest current account. Currently, my wage is paid into my RBS account. However, to control my spending, I have set up a standing order whereby £100 is transferred into my Natwest account, which I use for my weekly spending.

Originally, I was going to submit bank statements for both accounts, but my soliciot noted that I had overdrew on my Natwest account a couple of times (by no more than £50). The soliciotr then advised to only submit the RBS bank statements, as that always possessed a positive healthy balance. I never submitted a budget sheet or similar to explain the transactions from my savings account.

My question is this: is it possible the ECO will request my Natwest bank statements, as my RBS account statements clearly displays £100 going into my other account?

Or am I getting fussed up for nothing?

Thanks for your time and help guys. Much appreciated.

if 100 is going sumwhere ECO has nothing to do with it, he wouldnt require it, as long as you have healthy balance in RBS and meets the maintenance requirement its good to go:)
